Sonnie Badu Ushers Ghanaians Into 2013

December 31 has been a day most Ghanaians find church to attend and pray for God’s guidance as they enter  the year to come. Last year’s December 31 at the Trinity Baptist Church at Legon was a massive and powerful service to drive Ghanaians into 2012. Nigerain cum Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu was at the auditorium to lead Ghanaians into the new year. The gospel  artiste  was given the microphone around 11:30 pm  to minister and lead the congregation into 2013. The minister with his melodious voice  started with worship songs which was followed by prayers in about 15 minutes for believers to register theirselves in 2013. He started counting down when the time had left with 5 minutes to get into the year 2013 which was ensued by a shout as the clock ticked 00:00 and the date changed to 1st January, 2013.

Sonnie Badu with the help of the praises and worship team of the church thrilled the church members with glorious praises to thanked the MOST HIGH GOD for how far he has brought Ghanaians. With references to the melcome disaster, the passing away of our political leaders and some ill-fated events which happened within the year, he asked Ghanaians to be thankful to God because its not by our might.

Sonnie Badu who on the night wanted to represent his mother’s country asked of for a flag of Nigeria and sand one of his Nigerian songs. The minister after about one and half our of ministering handed the microphone over.
