It was the star-studded premiere of his new movie Gangster Squad.
But as Nick Nolte arrived on the red carpet in Hollywood on Monday, he looked like he’d rather be in bed.
Nick, 71, looked very cosy as he posed for photographers outside the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
While his dressing gown stood out, the veteran actor had opted to wear a relatively normal outfit underneath.
Nick, who stars as Chief Bill Parker in the movie, was otherwise wearing all-black, sporting a shirt, suit trousers, lace-up shoes and a paper boy cap.

His bold fashion statement may have been a bid to steal the spotlight from Ryan Gosling and his leading lady Emma Stone.
Ryan, who brought his mother along as his date, looked suave for the occasion in a brown three-piece suit which he paired with a white shirt and studded dress suit.
Meanwhile Emma looked lovely in a textured sweetheart cut dress, ensuring she was completely coordinated with a striking crimson statement necklace and patent scarlet pumps.
