We find it a little bit odd that this cocaine issue has become a very big issue. Drug dealers are busted day in and out but this particular one has been a never-ending-story since the news broke out. Maybe it’s because of the alleged “diplomatic passport” that was mentioned during earlier reports of the case.
Later last night, close to midnight, controversial politician and radio panelist, Ernest Owusu Bempah was on air and among the talks was the cocaine saga where he made some remarks which didn’t sit well with the BNI and President Mahama. The BNI earlier picked up Citi FM’s boss whose website broke the news of the arrest.

We didn’t tune in early but we heard Ernest Owusu Bempah say that a renowned MP collapsed immediately after news broke out that, Ruby, the lady in question was arrested. The host of the show tried to stop Ernest Owusu Bempah from going further but it seemed the BNI was already on their way. Our snitches tells us that, they have surrounded the station and from the look of it, Owusu Bempah will be spending the night with the BNI.
Update: We were ill-informed, it wasn’t Rev. Owusu Bempah but rather, it was Ernest Owusu Bempah, he updated his Facebook to confirm he was picked up by the BNI and even threatened President Mahama, should in case something happens to him. See his Facebook update below.
