These days, it’s common for women to pass another man’s child to another man without him being the father of the baby, due to this, there’s a way of checking if you’re truly the father of the child and that’s by undergoing a DNA test. Blood Type
Knowing your blood type is not a common practice in Ghana, but this is very important and not only to know yours but that of your partner. If you have this at the tip of your hands, you can easily determine if a child is yours or not.
So how do you do it?
For example, if the mother’s blood type is O and the alleged child is B, the father can only have blood type B or AB for the daughter to be related to the father.
This is basic biology and usually when a child is born, all this information are written on the child’s hospital form and so as a father it’s important to read these information. While going through, you can easily tell if the child is yours or not if you know your blood type and that of your partner and can easily do the checking. If it doesn’t tally, you can ask for a DNA test to be sure.
