Nollywood mega star actress/producer, Enchantress Funke Akindele-Oloyede won the Best Actress of the Year at the just concluded 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, beaten her contemporaries like Rita Dominic, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Tonto Dikeh, Nse Ekpe Etim and Uche Jombo.

The 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards went down yesterday night in New York. Stars from Nollywood, Music & fashion trooped to the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts.
