Gyedu Blay Ambulley says he is not happy about the deal he signed with telecommunication network, Globacom.
The legendary highlife musician in an interview on Hitz FM said GLO failed to honour certain clauses in their contract which does not augur well for the company.
“I have been with GLO for the past five years and talking about the do’s and dont’s of what was stipulated in the contract, many things fell short. The kind of determination that GLO brought right from the beginning dwindled down. They are not making the artistes known.
GLO said they were going to be doing 5 shows but sometimes in the whole year, it was just one show. Looking at what transpired, I think that it is about time that we need to move forward because there are a whole lot of brands out there and many of them are looking for artistes to use them for their brand to be known…….where we are now, we are moving out.”
He further advised Stonebwoy to take a cue from what happened to him when he signed the GLO deal since reports suggest that he has been approached with an $80,000 deal.
“There is too much difference between the deal signed by Nigerian artistes and Ghanaian artistes when it comes to GLO. They give Nigerian artistes like $250,000 and that doesn’t happen with Ghanaian artistes so when GLO calls Stonebwoy, all that I can tell him is to watch out.”
