One of the “rumored” gay people in Ghana [emphasis on “rumored”], Joseph Bentil Ani, popularly known as Uncle Chester has something to say about same-sex marriage.
When asked about his opinion, he said he thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman as we know it to be. In his own words …
“I am not in agreement with same sex marriage and I can’t understand transgender either. I am wondering if it is actually very necessary. It’s just my viewpoint.
The institution of marriage is sacred…….. I don’t get it, maybe I don’t understand the reasons for it.
I think there should be some debate about it… some people are born like that,” he said in an interview on TV3 Wednesday morning.
He however said, he believes there is the need for a conversation on homosexuality in Ghana.
