Daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings, Dr. Ezenator Rawlings, is set to contest the Korle Klottey parliamentary seat on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Kasapafmonline.com sources at the constituency have confirmed her interest to contest the seat which is currently being occupied by a former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Armah Ashitey.
Our sources add that Mr. Ashitey has declared his intention not to seek for re-election when the primaries are held.
Dr. Ezenator, this website has been told, is seriously in talks with the rank and file of the party in the constituency to win their support ahead of official opening of nominations.
Her father, our sources said, will lead her campaign.
