Brutality at the LET MY VOTE COUNT demonstration has not gone unnoticed.
The occurrence of the brutality cannot be argued but its legality would be argued at all times.
These are the facts OMGGhana can confirm about the brutality.
1.
The police used force, whether minimum or maximum to disperse demonstrators who lost focus on the route they were supposed to take. Tear gas, horse whips and batons were used, we can not say more to any maximum force that could have been used.
2.
Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko was among the flogged protesters. His wounds, we learnt is being treated at a hospital now. So much for the ALL DIE BE DIE NPP man.
3.
A little over twenty people are still in police cells after the demonstration. They were persons arrested for misconduct during the demonstration.

The Police are proud of their action, however undemocratic it may be for Gabby, the Police believe it was the right course of action.
