Sam George, the parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress for the Ningo-Prampram constituency, has been suspended from the party.
The Greater Accra regional branch of the NDC took the decision following Sam’s accusation of bias against the executives in the just ended primaries.
The letter, signed by the regional secretary, Victor Quarshie Adonoo, stated that Sam contravened article 41(3a) and 40(8b and C) of the party’s constitution by instigating people against the regional executive monitoring team.
He is also said to have granted an interview accusing the regional executives of perpetrating fraud to the benefit of his only contender, Hon. E.T. Mensah.
Sam George will be invited to meet the Disciplinary committee of the NDC very soon.
