After reading Lilian’s post here on who to spend Valentine with, I thought about doing something similar.
“Which celebrity would you want to spend Valentine’s Day with and what 3 items would you take with you, not to bother about clothes.”
I haven’t been on any traditional Valentine date, so I may be a bit off with ideas.
1. Genevieve Nnaji
Call her “Julia Roberts” of Nollywood and you’re not far from the truth, at least Oprah called her that. Genevieve Nnaji is a Nigerian actress and singer who was born in Mbaise, but grew up in Lagos. She has also featured in several comercials and currently owns a clothing line “St Genevieve”.
Our date: Olivia Pope fancy wine glass
I think we’ll “Netflix and chill”. Probably kickstart with watching her favorite movies, to the ones she starred in if that wouldn’t be awkward. In all of this, we’re drinking red wine from one of those Olivia Pope fancy wine glasses. Date ends up with home delivery from maybe HelloFood
2. Eku Edewor
Eku Edewor is a Nigerian actress, television presenter and model. We know her as the light skinned goddess that hosts 53 Extra on AfricaMagic. Eku mades heads turn wherever she is and man, I would pray for a date with Eku.

Our date: My phone
We’ll have lunch at Terrakulture. Start maybe with spicy chicken wings and potato chips garnished with fresh parsley, while we talk about things – her, her and her. After food, we’ll see a stage play together. While all of this is going on, I’ll have my phone taking pictures and videos of special moments. You don’t get the opportunity to have a date with Eku Edewor everyday.
3. Stephanie Coker
Stephanie Eniafe Coker is a Nigerian on air personality and TV presenter for MTV Base and Ebony Life. She has interned at big media companies and is amazing to say but the least.
Our date: Heads Up/Never I Have Ever
Knowing fully well that Stephanie is a TV girl, we’ll play my favorite games from the Ellen Show which is one of my favorite shows. Start with the game ‘Heads Up’ which is on my iPad and then we’ll sit down to play revealing rounds of ‘Never Have I Ever’. She’ll then teach me how to be as awesome as she is, and we’ll order take out too.
