They seem like they’re popping up everywhere and some in Nairobi are simply massive. We’re talking about malls of course, but which Nairobi mall is the biggest?
Here are the top four:
1. Westgate
The original gigantic Nairobi mall has made a comeback recently (re-opening in July of 2015) following a horrific terrorist attack in 2013.

2. Thika Road Mall
Thika Road Mall is massive, and when it was built it became the biggest in all of Nairobi. Basically you can find everything out there. Since the trend of Nairobi building malls faster than it can build drainage systems seems to be constant, TRM didn’t hold the title of biggest in Nairobi for long.

3. Garden City Mall
Garden City Mall isn’t exactly an old staple of Nairobi, it’s massive frame popped up just a year ago. When construction was done however, it was a behemoth, claiming the title of the biggest in Kenya. It seemed like a crown that would be hard to beat except for…

4. Two Rivers Mall
Yes, this one is a bit of a cop out considering that the massive mall won’t be open at all for at least a few months. That being said once it is completed, it’ll hold the crown of the biggest in all of East Africa. Since the structure is essentially finished, we’ll give Two Rivers the top spot.
