Well, this sounds like a threat. Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad paid his respects to the late Hugo Chavez by making a bold prediction about his future. He said that he had “no doubt that Chavez will return on resurrection day,” bringing Jesus and Imam Mahdi — the “prophesied redeemer of Islam” — with him. (THAT sounds like a fun group to carpool with.) In a statement posted to his website, Ahmadinejad says that the supergroup will bring “peace, justice and kindness” to the world. And, because he was obviously on a roll, Ahmadinejad kept writing, saying that there was something “suspicious” about the cancer that claimed Chavez’s life. [Source]
