Langata Women’s Prison is all about transforming the lives of the ladies serving their jail time.
A beauty pageant curated to support the rehabilitation of female prisoners at the institution saw one lucky lady, Ruth Wanjiru Kamande bag the crown, beating 19 other contestants.
Ruth appears familiar and that’s because she is the lady that was involved in a love triangle last year in Buruburu and ended up stabbing her boyfriend, Farid Mohammed, then 24 years old 22 times obviously killing him. She had allegedly stabbed him after finding love messages in his phone.
She also trended on social media after Miss World Nyamira and Kisii County went to visit the inmates at the institution and took a photo with two gorgeous felons (Ruth being on the far left)…In typical Kenyan troll style, people then began making fun of the fact that the inmates were prettier than the actual beauty queens! (not my words)
Well well well, looks like the new beauty queen is doing just fine while serving time judging from these photos that are now doing rounds on Social media.
