Money makes the world go mad!
If you found USD 10,000 and knew to whom it belonged, would you return it or pocket it? Imagine all the temptations? Upcoming rent, school fees, that piece of land you badly want to buy, that car you’ve been saving up for….and suddenly, there’s the money, the only problem is, it doesn’t belong to you. To steal and hush hush or to return it to the rightful owner?
A majority of people would probably be tempted to steal and hush hush…but one Ethiopian lady, Roza Shiferaw, a Flight Attendant with Ethiopian Airlines found USD 10,000 approx Kes 1,000,000 and returned it to the rightful owner, a passenger on board one of their aircraft. Now that my friends…is parenting done right!
The airline took to their Facebook page to commend her integrity and work ethic:
