RnB Superstar, Trey Songz has been acting very suspiciously.
We’ve been monitoring some of his actions, and we are in fact convinced that he is secretly Nigerian. He was in Nigeria for the 2015 edition of Rhythm Unplugged and we suspect that this visit might have triggered something. Before you start to think that we are just being ridiculous, here’s the proof.
1. He thinks Jollof Rice is awesome
He was recently in Kenya for Coke Studio Africa and he enjoyed a plate of Nigerian Jollof (side eye at you Ghanaians) with Yemi Alade, like a true Nigerian man. From the look on his face, you can tell that he relished it. Not like we’re keeping count, but this is one more Internationally recognised personality who thinks that Nigerian Jollof is amazing.

2. He rocks to Naija Jams perfectly.
A twitter user uploaded a video of Trey grooving to Tekno’s ‘Pana’ and Wizkid’s ‘Soweto baby’ effortlessly. We can’t wait for him to release an afrobeat track.

We are always excited to welcome lost long children home. What do you think Trey should adopt as his Nigerian name? ‘Oluwatrey’ sounds too unoriginal, don’t you think? We’d love to hear your suggestions. Check out these other foreign celebs who are truly Nigerians.
