In Nigeria, power pass power!
And really those who understand will understand. Most of the time your inability to get an item is not because you’re not eligible for the item or not because it’s not readily accessible, but because the Nigerian god in charge of it is in a bad mood and you as the lowly subject who decided to pay tribute on a day like that has to dance to the tune of the music.
And so if for any reason you find yourself having to see anyone on this list, pray to God for your goal to be reached and to meet them on a good day. (At this point, praying for the latter gives you the former)
1. The NYSC officials inside and outside camp
Always doing like na them do pass! Abeg calm down.

2. The Security Guard at the office you’re visiting
Because automatically wearing your uniform makes you the oga pata pata of the whole firm.

3. The clerks at a federal university’s transcript office
They’re almost always busy with work that you ask what they actually do.

4. Petrol attendants during fuel scarcity
That’s when they’ll actually do all the “igberaga” they know how to do.

5. ‘Deities’ conducting visa interviews
Can’t even start to explain this one honestly.

6. Secretaries at Government Ministries
They have degrees in frustrating you and enjoying it.

7. Police Men
Won’t get you started on this, but pray never to meet a cop on a bad day.
