The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, NPP who is currently the president-elect of the country. He stood for the presidency thrice, in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
On the 7th December this year, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party was declared the president-elect after winning with 53% of the total votes cast. He took lead with 1 million votes leaving his highest contender at 43%.
Today, being the first Sunday after the election saw the president-elect and his family giving thanks to the almighty for a glorious win at the Accra Ridge Church. And as the saying goes, “after everything, give thanks to God”.
