Everyone has heard about the nationwide protest organised by musician, 2face Idibia.
The nationwide protest is scheduled to hold on February 6th at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos to the National Theatre in the Iganmu area of Lagos state. As expected, there has been much buzz online about it leading to the hashtag #IStandWith2Face
A couple of Nigerians have previously given contrary opinions based on 2Face leading the protests
Like Professor Akindele Adetoye at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife who said
You are a bloody illiterate. You had sex with all manners of girls without using condoms. You impregnated them and made babies all over the place. You now want to lead protest against the government because of lack of governance! Have you governed your own personal life? Charity, they say begins at home. Nonsense!
Or even his ex-group mate who said
Don't go out to protest against anything people! it is useless and baseless especially in this sensitive period, dont be used by politicians

But really, what’s the relation between his personal life and demanding good governance? Or even Black Face’s comment?

Anyway, more Nigerians are tweeting with the hashtag #IStandWith2Face and #IStandWithTuFace indicating their support for the music star.

So here’s the big question: do you support the protests? Do you think they’re necessary?
Here are some celebrities who have also indicated support for the February 5th protest.
