Ade Coker Reveals Konadu’s Secrets
It looks like the current storm blowing between the NDC and the Rawlings’ doesn’t look like ending anytime soon. The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Joseph Ade Coker is the latest member of the NDC to jump into the fray.
The former couple have stated separately that their reasons for affiliating with the NDP is that the NDC has lost the principles of probity, accountability and social justice. They indicate that these principles were what the NDC was founded on.
However, members of the ruling NDC have on various occasions, stated that the Rawlings have lost any moral right to accuse anyone of losing principles.
Ade Coker speaking on Adom FM’s flagship political programme Nea Mehunu on Monday October 15, 2012 accused the NDP flagbearer of buying state property whiles she was in office as the First Lady. He stated that neither Nana Konadu nor her husband can claim righteousness during their 19 years in office and advised them to stop pointing accusing fingers at others in the NDC.
‘Apart from Jesus Christ, all of us are fallible therefore if we are talking about others, we should beware of our own errors as well’ he said.
He again questioned why the Rawlings’ schooled her children abroad despite public concerns, though the children could have received similar education from local public universities.
