Pilots take nap on flight while attendants fly plane
Ever kicked back during a flight, only to turn around and see the pilot fast asleep next to you? That’s what reportedly happened when two pilots on an Air India flight between Bangkok and Delhi decided to take a break. The 166-passenger plane had only been in the air for 30 minutes when First Officer Ravindra Nath and Capt. B.K. Soni allegedly left the cockpit and went to take a nap in business class — after showing two flight attendants how to man the plane, naturally. According to sources, one of the flight attendants accidentally turned off the autopilot 40 minutes later, but luckily for everyone onboard, the actual pilots woke up before tragedy struck. All four crew members have reportedly been suspended. [Source]
