[VIDEO] Melcom Tragedy: Melcom Chairman Comments on Situation

The Chairman of Melcom group has commented on the collapse of the company’s four-storey store at Achimota opposite Neoplan Assembling Plant this morning. The tragedy which occurred this morning has recorded a number of deaths with several people still feared trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building.

Rescue agencies including the Military, Police, Fire service and Ambulance service are working hard to rescue survivors.

The company has come out to condemn claims that it was responsible for the collapse not building using quality materials for the construction.
