It looks as if ever since Bandana aka Shatta Wale arrived from the United Kingdom- London some weeks back, his ability to make news have gone up a notch higher. News stories seem to be coming up at all places the name Shatta Wale is mentioned including when he was met on arrival at the airport by the 4Syte tv crew. Information Flex newspaper is working on to prove it`s worthiness in the entertainment industry is the fact that Bandana aka Shatta Wale has caused the arrest of some fake event promoters and have sent them to the Mamprobi Police station for redress. This information came to our notice last Saturday afternoon in what news people will refer to as a scoop.
According to our informant who was at the police station at Mamprobi when the fake event promoters were brought in, he told Flex newspaper that he witnessed a scene where Bandana and his people reported to the police at Mamprobi of some promoters who had used his image on an event they were promoting. “This issue is something that has been happening in our entertainment industry and the earlier we all come on board to prevent its recurrence, the better for our industry. For the first time, I saw that Bandana and his people were angry and doing everything possible to lock the organizers in police cells. I support them fully because, not too long ago, Sarkodie also took to twitter and announced the same treatment being meted out to him and his colleagues so if Shatta Wale will start arresting people like he has done to these fake promoters in Mamprobi, then I am sure we are on the right track” our source told us on phone.
Meanwhile attempts to get Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog who happens to be the Chief executive officer of Bullhaus Music and manages Bandana proved abortive as his two known contact numbers were switched off during press time. There are other allegations on Shatta Wale`s mother and more but because we are not getting to speak to the management of Shatta Wale, Flex newspaper will freeze that story till next week.
