The scuffle between technology giants Samsung and Apple Inc. seem endless as the former has stated that it will no longer supply batteries for the latter’s products.
Samsung supplied batteries for Apple Inc.’s iPad and MacBook products.
Apple Inc. was rumoured not too long ago to be dumping Samsung as a manufacturer but the latter in turn was rumoured to be uping the price on the processors it manufactured but both rumours were later on debunked.
Meanwhile, Apple has announced that batteries supply for the two products will now be manufactured by Amperex Technology Limited and Tianjin Lishen Battery.
Yet still Apple will have to but its chips from Samsung but experts says will simply reduce the rate of dependency.
Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Apple seeks to invest in better chips and might consider manufacturing them itself.
