Actress Lydia Forson Talks Against Joy FM’S Night With The Stars Event
The battle between Accra based musicians and Tema rappers have been a controversy we doubt will fade out of the public domain in any time soon. Joy FM, Accra based radio station with their annual event dubbed ‘Night With The Stars‘ decided to bring the music artiste of these two cities together for fans to judge who is really the best when it comes to Ghana music.
The event was planned to see artise like Sarkodie battle it out with the dancehall maestro Samini, D-Black vs E.L, Buk Bak vs R2bees, Dobble and Keche and finally the femcees, Eazzy vs Tiffany. The event which took place at the Accra International Conference Centre didn’t come to an end as a fight erupted. Ghana’s B.E.T award winner Sarkodie and his Tema friends R2bees didn’t perform at the show.
Actress Lydia Forson via her twitter handle this morning expressed displeasure about the event which didn’t come to a successful end.
Personally I wonder why an event will be organised to fuel and already raging rivalry?? Don’t make sense!! Its like referring a fight?

The actress went ahead to compare the event to Biggie and Tupac saying
Imagine a rap battle between East Coast and West Coast!! Tupac and Biggie’s crew would just tear up the place. — Lydia Forson (@lydiaforson) November 25, 2012
She further advised Ghanaians to end the beefs and come together as one
Can’t we all just be Ghanaians/Africans and get along.. Enough with the competition/beef or whatever already!! *throwshandsupinfrustration
