Juliet Ibrahim has 99 problems and her recurring yearly Halloween party is one. She has been under scrutiny since last year for her attempt to bring Halloween (foreign culture) to Ghana. Ghanaians have frowned on the devilish-themed party where attendees are supposed to dress like witches or horror movie characters to party. We personally don’t have a problem with it and we don’t see the point either but it’s a common type of party which happens in the west.
This year, she decided to tone the criticism down by calling it a “costume party” but there were still painted faces and other Halloween-related stuff. She had the support of many famous people like Davido, Paedae (R2Bees), Jackie Appiah and more passing through. Let us look at what they wore at the event that was held at Club45 in Accra.
