The Teachers Service Commission has permanently banned 22 teachers from teaching in Kenya.
The teachers were found guilty of teacher-student sexual relations according to the disciplinary committee’s report conducted between 2014 – 2016.

The teachers are completely banned from academic environments in the country, and a fine of Ksh 100,000 will be accessed to any school found employing any of them.
According to the Daily Nation report, which made the disciplinary committee’s findings known to the public, here are the names of all 22 male teachers caught in the scandal:

2. Patrick Kayombia.
3. Joseph Kimeli.
4. Charles Nderitu.
5. Naftali Onyango.
6. Peter Nderitu Gakubu.
7. Benso John Onyango.
8. Wellington Oyaya.
9. Lamech Bosire Mbeta.
10. William Mutai.
11. Lawrence Nkari.
12. Benson Owuor.
13. Dennis Maluche.
14. Peter Wenani.
15. Ayub Barasa.
16. Jairus Mathya.
17. Moses Kimathi.
18. Sammy Wilson Ndeta.
19. Duke Marisa.
20. Enock Simiyu.
21. Justus Odoyo.
