Kenyan Public Figures And Celebrities Mourn Achieng Abura

Achien’g Abura, the fallen afro-jazz singer had been open about her struggles with health.

Posting on Facebook about her erratic weight fluctuations and urging others to learn from her mistakes and take better care of themselves. On the 20th of October, she passed away while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital. The late singer, songwriter, voice coach and pianist was an inspiration to many and a cornerstone in the Kenyan music industry.

Countless Kenyan celebrities, including fellow musicians and public figures joined the rest of the nation in offering their condolences to Achien’g Abura’s family and wishing the musician peace.
