Bill and Melinda Gates: Make a condom that makes sex feel better

“I prefer to use a condom,” said no man, ever. So even though the condom has been revolutionary in preventing HIV and unwanted pregnancy, that awkward “condom negotiation” often persists, especially among high-risk groups like sex workers and women in developing countries. But what if sex with a condom actually felt better than sex without one? With all the advances in neuroscience, vascular biology and other fields, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation thinks it’s possible. The organization is challenging anyone with ideas for a feel-good condom to compete for a grant of up to $1 million.
