HIV Cure Found in Herbal Medicine

COA drug,a drug developed by the Centre of Awareness, a religious-based non-governmental organisational herbal drug has the potential for managing HIV and AIDS and has been tested and confirmed to be effective against the HIV virus. Dr.Mubarak Osei Akwasi,Virologist at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research in Accra confirmed to OMGGhana.com that the drug could reduce virus growth between 70 and 80 per cent in a laboratory test although its yet to be tested on humans.

He also confirmed that it also has the ability to cure other blood related diseases such as Hepatitis and Leukaemia. Daily Graphic has also confirmed that the drug has also been tested by the Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine, Akuapem Mampong,and it is said to be a potential source for the cure of HIV and AIDS.

The drug kills the virus as opposed to anti-retrovirus drugs which only suppresses the virus.
